Conappice 2008 - Third National Congress on Fuell Cells - Presentation

Following most recent progresses in Fuel Cells, the new edition of CONAPPICE, the Spanish fuel cell meeting, is presented in this occasion in Zaragoza.

CONAPPICE 2008 will be held in Zaragoza, from 24 to 26 of September, 2008, in the Feria de Muestras de Zaragoza.

There is a special significance in this place, since Zaragoza will be in the year 2008 an international reference for the sustainable development, the environment, renewable energies and the protection of the water, receiving events as Expo Zaragoza 2008, Power Expo, and now also CONAPPICE 2008.

This edition will continue in the same line of previous editions, CONAPPICE 2004 and CONAPPICE 2006 , which most relevant works were gathered in corresponding volumes of the Journal of Power Sources, to be the meeting point for the highest quality research being carried out at present by the principal Spanish groups, as well as significant examples of the work by groups of neighbour countries.

At the same time, CONAPPICE 2008 wants reflect the latest technological developments, demonstration projects, industrial applications, as well as main public and private initiatives related to fuel cells at national level.

Contents of CONAPPICE 2008 will be similar to that of previous editions, covering from basic aspects of the electrochemical energy conversion and materials research, the development of components, assembly and operation of devices and systems, including both high and low temperature devices.

There will also be meetings dedicated to the production of hydrogen and storage, as well as latest experiences in industrial applications. As a result, an overall view of the current state of art of this technology in Spain and the possibilities of future will be available to the attendees.
