ROBIO 2009 International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics

December 18-22, 2009, Guilin,Guangxi,China

The 2009 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics (ROBIO) is to provide a forum for researchers in the interdisciplinary areas of robotics and biomimetics to disseminate their latest research results. The theme of 2009 ROBIO is “Robot-assisted bioengineering to serve humans”.

The 2009 ROBIO will be held in Guilin of Guangxi, a famous tourism city in China. Guilin (Chinese: 桂林) is located in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on the west bank of the Li River. Its name means "forest of Sweet Osmanthus", owing to the large number of fragrant Sweet Osmanthus trees located in the city. The city has long been renowned for its unique scenery. The 2009 ROBIO will provide the participants an opportunity to enjoy the fantastic scenic spots and the unique culture of the minority nations of Guangxi in addition to technical programs.
