The EGI User Forum will be organised by EGI.eu, Vilnius University http://www.vu.lt/en/ and LITNET http://www.litnet.lt/ in Vilnius, Lithuania, 11-14 April 2011, with the support of the EGI-InSPIRE http://uf2011.egi.eu/EGI-InSPIRE and European Middleware Initiative (EMI) https://www.eu-emi.eu/ projects and local secretariat BAIP http://www.baip.lt/cms/index.

The conference will showcase the diversity of the user community within the European Grid Infrastructure through daily plenaries, oral presentations, poster sessions and co-located workshops.

The event aims to help all members of the EGI community, from end-users to application developers, operations staff and technology providers, to share their knowledge and build collaborations. The programme will also include numerous networking and social events and opportunities to ‘meet the experts’.

We look forward to meeting you in Vilnius http://uf2011.egi.eu/venue/index.html!

Booth information

The exhibition floor, featuring posters, demonstrations and booths, is a key component of the scientific and social programmes of the event.
Booth information

The exhibition floor at the Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva will feature up to 20 booths.

The deadline for booth registration is 25 March 2011.

If you would like to rent booth space at the User Forum please send an email to info-uf2011@egi.eu.

Exhibition booths are available to hire by projects, academic institutions and other not for profit organisations for the full duration of the exhibition. It is not possible to hire a booth for just one day, or any other fraction of the exhibition.

To keep prices down, booth registration does not include individual passes: exhibitors will have to register separately to attend the event.

Booths have an area of six square meters (6m2; 2 x 3m) and will be equipped with electricity, lighting, side walls, a table and two chairs. The booth price includes basic furniture, energy sockets, panels and lighting. It will be possible to hire additional equipment on site.

Pricing

More information on pricing for academic organisations and extra equipment available for hire can be found in the exhibition guide.

Setting up the exhibition

Installation will start on Monday 11 April at 8:00 and should be finished by 9:00, when the exhibition floor is officially opened. It will also be possible to set up the booths on Sunday 10 April, between 18:00 and 21:00.

Each booth will be clearly labelled with the name of its organisation. A detailed floor plan, displaying all the booths and their allocated exhibitors, will be released in due time. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to accommodate preferences of individual exhibitors and once booth location is assigned it cannot be changed.

The organisers of the EGI User Forum and the Radisson Blue Hotel Lietuva will not be responsible for any item or material lost or misplaced during the exhibition, either during or after opening hours.

Dismantling

No tear down will be authorised before the official end of the exhibition on Wednesday 13 April at 17:00. If you are an exhibitor, please take this into consideration when making your travel arrangements.

All materials should be removed from the exhibition floor by the latest Thursday 14 April at 9:00. The organisers of the EGI User Forum and the Radisson Blue Hotel Lietuva Forum will not be responsible for any item or material that has not been removed once the event is finished.
