About us:

The Vaisseau is a project of the General Council of the Bas-Rhin which opened its doors to the public on February 22nd 2005.

Educational yet fun, the Vaisseau is a place for the discovery of science and technology. It is particularyly geared towards children and young people aged between 3 and 15 years old, but also attracts families, schools, groups and tourists, as well as businesses.

Accessible for everyone, the Vaisseau is a place where children of all ages and all nationalities can meet, communicate and exchange ideas, something which is promoted by the Vaisseau's trilingual status (French, German and English).

The Vaisseau has set itself several mission statements: to facilitate the sharing and discovery of science and technology by all generations, to promote openness between different cultures, to improve the surroundings for disabled people, and to respect the environment.

Our motto here at the Vaisseau? "Learning whilst having fun!" It is through this that the Vaisseau aims to provide support for parents and teachers in their role as educators, using many different types of activities: trilingual interactive exhibits, temporary exhibitions, an educational garden, 3D films, workshops... the list goes on!
So come and discover the Vaisseau for yourselves, and learn whilst having fun!
