CORDIS, the Community Research and Development Information Service, offers a daily news service covering European Union research related policy developments, implementation measures, events and funding opportunities from the EU framework research programmes. CORDIS News is a reliable, multilingual online resource for journalists, provided in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Polish. It is complemented by a monthly print digest - the CORDIS focus newsletter, along with supplements on specific themes, R&D results, small companies and research policy. The interactive CORDIS website provides access to the funding opportunities available from the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (2007-2013), as well as tools and guidance for participation. It links EU research programme managers and policy-makers with researchers and industry across Europe and beyond. The service is provided free by the Office for Official Publications of the European Union.
